Alexandra (Allie) Leigh Reed (25)

born June 15, 1998, unexpectedly passed away April 18, 2024. 

“God saw you getting tired, when a cure was not to be. So he wrapped his arms around you 

and He whispered, “come to me”. You did not deserve what you went through, so He gave 

you needed rest. He only takes the best."

 

Allie is survived by her mother, Chandra McCarty (Dan), her father Eddie Reed, sisters, 

Lacey Wolcott (Ryan), Sara Reed (Baby J), Cagney Shearer (Nick) and Lacey McCarty 

(Jacob), her favorite great-grandparents, Roberta and John Reed, grandparents, Keith Reed,

Cindy Adams, Patricia Struble (Tom), HP Lattimer (Theresa), Aunt Kelly, Uncle Timmy, Uncle Lance (Amy) and many other aunts, uncles & cousins. Her nephews were her absolute pride and joy and her furbaby Nala girl. 

This Gemini was a reflection of true beauty inside and out. Allie was intelligent, outgoing and talented, she would excel in any sport, project or task at hand. Allie won championships for her teams as an unstoppable softball catcher. Her favorite color was purple and she loved to play Bingo. Allie had the biggest heart, so giving to everyone who had the pleasure to meet her. Allie always pushed the envelope and lived life wide open. 

Per the family’s request at this time there will be private services with a celebration of life to be announced at a later time.Condolences may be sent to 1634 Ridge Road, Lockwood, NY 14859. The family will be making a donation in her honor to share hope with others.
