Our hearts were broken when God called our beloved Adam Nesbitt home, while playing flag football with his friends at Wildcat Stadium Sunday October 4, 2015. He was only 24 and died of natural but unexplained causes. Adam was an amazing young man who was taken too soon.  He touched many people during his life. Naturally athletic he enjoyed all sports, as well as outdoor activities such as hiking and rafting. He lived his life to the fullest and was always the life of the party, spreading joy wherever he went. Everyone who knew Adam will know his greatest asset was his punctuality.  Adam was a 2009 graduate of Johnson City High School and a 2014 graduate of SUNY Oswego with a degree in Technology Education. He was employed as a CTE teacher at Gunston Middle School in Arlington, VA. Adam always enjoyed making and fixing things. He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Dave Mathews Band. He was also proud of his membership in Johnson City Unity Masonic Lodge #970. Adam was born January 31, 1991, son of Diane Squires Nesbitt and Robert Nesbitt. He is survived by his loving family, his mother Diane Nesbitt and fiance Shawn McMahon, his brother Alex, his great-grandmother "Nana" Irene Morkunas, his aunt Laurie Fortune Squires, his uncle Carl Squires, grandparents Gary and Kathy Nesbitt and his cousins Ryan, Casey, Stephen and Shannen, along with other aunts uncles, and countless friends. He was predeceased by his "Papa" Morkunas, his grandparents, Carl and Irene Squires and his uncle Andy Nesbitt.
