Caroline J. Perry, 78, of Chenango Bridge went to be with The Lord April 8, 2017. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Thomas E. Perry, her children; Allen (Cheryl) Jenks, Rev. Terry (Sheri) Jenks, Doug (Lisa) Jenks and Diane (Robert) Croswell, step-children; Deborah (Jim) Smith, Brenda Caram, Scott (Tee) Perry and Laurette Zimmer, 23 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Ann Travis, brother, William (Thelma) Moore, many nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. She was predeceased by her husband Donald Copp and sisters Betty Bender and Hazel Robinson. Caroline was one who was always content in her surroundings. Her most precious possessions were her family. She was so proud of her children as each one became an adult and started lives with their own families. She loved the simple things in life, working in her flower gardens, decorating the house windows with stickers for each holiday, and fixing dinner for friends and family. Although she dealt with poor health all her life, she never once complained of her limitations. She will leave a huge void in our lives. The family offers their deepest appreciation to the staff at Willow Point Nursing Home for the compassionate care they provided to Caroline during her time there.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday at the First Church of the Nazarene, 1282 Chenango St. Binghamton. The family will greet friends from 10:00-111:00 am at the church. Burial will follow in Conklin Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango St. Binghamton. Please sign her guestbook
