Elijah Zion Ellis-Combs, age 9, our precious child was taken home to be with The Lord on November 6, 2016.

He was the son of Kenneth Combs and Keinya Ellis and the brother of Joyce R. Ellis. He is also survived by a host of loving family and friends.

Elijah was a bright and selfless young boy. He cared deeply for the feelings of others and was always there to stand up and protect anyone being picked on. He was well liked and well mannered. He enjoyed playing pokemon and other games. As a young athlete he enjoyed playing football, formerly in JC and now ME, where he was a Spartan through and through. He was a student at Homer Brink Elementary School.

Funeral services will be 12:00 noon Saturday at the Endwell United Methodist Church, 3301 Watson Blvd. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 am - 12:00. Please make a donation to ME Youth Football PO Box 376, Endicott, NY 13760 in his memory. The Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango St. is assisting the family.
