      Emerick T. “Hank” Snopek 86, of Binghamton passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
  He was predeceased by his parents Marcel and Hilda Snopek, Father and Mother-in-law Lenn and Juanita Church, sisters; Agnes Snopek, Marcella Braunbeck, Lottie Hill and brother Joe Snopek; brother-in-laws George Braunbeck, Gordon Hill, Ed Kika, Dick Wood and Clark Williams; sister-in-laws Sarah Snopek and Ann Snopek.
  Hank is survived by his “ONE AND ONLY Love” and Honey ‘B’ of over 62 years, Beryle ‘B’ Snopek; four daughters Tonya (Terry) Skidmore, Jody (Chris) Nagle, Tracey (Jim) Tessier and Vicky (Tom) Norton; Beloved grandchildren Kyle (Karla) Skidmore, Kevin (Barbie) Skidmore, Shelby, Logan, Spencer and Jacey Nagle, Chelsea and Travis Tessier; and his precious great granddaughter Abigail Grace Skidmore; brother Steve Snopek and sisters Josie Kika and Hilda Wood; brother-in-law Howard Church and sister-in-laws Beverly “Rose” Williams and Bernita Little.
He was a proud member of the 5th RCT Regimental Army division during the Korean Conflict. After serving his country he worked for GAF and then moved on to Singer Link where he retired after 34 years.
  After retiring, he organized an annual reunion for the 5th RCT, L Company, which continues to this day. He traveled with his wife ‘B’ and did what he loved most, spent time with his family. Hank was a dedicated member of the Conklin Presbyterian Church and could always be found greeting people and helping at all church events.  
 Hank and his family would like to thank their special friend Shelley Guelzow, Debbie Giannone FNP, Dr. Dharmesh Patel and the staff of Lourdes Hospice.
  The family will receive friends at the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango St. Binghamton on Friday, January 20th from 3pm – 6pm and Saturday, January 21st from 1pm – 2pm with the funeral to follow at 2:00 pm  Burial will take place at the Hill Family Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the Conklin Presbyterian Church 1175 Conklin Rd, Conklin, NY 13748 or the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675-8517.
