John Stanchak, 85, of Windsor went to join his family in Heaven on December 1, 2017. He was predeceased by Stella, his beloved wife of 63 years in 2016, his daughter Laurie in 2016 and his son Sonny in 1999. He is survived by his loving son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Deb Stanchak of Windor, his cherished grandson Kyle, his son-in-law John Swold and many nieces and nephews. John was the last surviving child of Myron and Anna (Pitzilack) Stanchak. He formerly worked at Ozalid and operated Stanchak Equipment from the late 1960's until it closed after a fire in the early 1980's. He was one of the first snowmobile dealers in the area selling Scorpion snowmobiles. He enjoyed riding snowmobiles with his family and many friends. A special joy in his life was his only grandson Kyle. John had great memories of taking him peach picking and taught him how to operate the Kubota. John was also a veteran of the U.S. Army.
