Joseph M. DiLuzio, 54, a lifelong resident of Binghamton and Conklin, passed away December 2, 2016 at his home after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his loving girlfriend and caregiver, Jennifer Roy and her daughter, Jessica Drury. He is also survived by his parents, his mother Sharon (McHale) Northrup of Conklin and his father Frank DiLuzio, of Unadilla, his siblings, Frank DiLuzio, Jr. of Glen Aubrey, Terri Curtis of Endicott, Mark DiLuzio of Conklin, Sue and Dale Gaylord of PA, Doug DiLuzio of Tampa, FL and John DiLuzio of Binghamton, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Joe was born in Binghamton and raised in Binghamton and Conklin. He worked for Giant Food Markets for 13 years and then worked construction for many years, first with Allen Brown Foundation Repairs and later with AP (Anthony Piccirilli) Construction in Binghamton. He was a loyal fan of both the NY Jets and the NY Giants.
He will be deeply missed by those who love him.
He was buried Monday in Spring Forest Cemetery in Binghamton. A Memorial Mass will be held 10:00 am Friday December 9, at the Church of Sts. John and Andrew, 1263 Vestal Ave. Binghamton, NY. Following the Mass, the family invites everyone to attend a luncheon at the Night Cap at 71 Lake Ave. Binghamton.
