Mary Naugle, 84, formerly of Conklin died August 2, 2016. She was predeceased by her husband Sterling Naugle, a former employee of Sarkisian Bros. Construction. She is survived by her devoted daughter and son-in-law, Jan and Danny Stone of Conklin, her cherished grandchildren, Jacquelyn Olson and Nikoli Mott, a brother, Richard Hildebrand and a sister, Harriett Franz, along with several nieces and nephews. Mary attended Susquehanna University in Pennsylvania and graduated from Ithaca College with a degree in Music. She taught music for one year at Harpursville Schools and from 1957-63 she taught instrumental music at Maine-Endwell Schools.Mary loved boating, water skiing and roller skating, as well as sewing and quilting. Her family was her joy. She was blessed with special dogs during her lifetime and could often be seen walking around Conklin with them.

There will be no services. Mary requested her remains be donated to the anatomy program at SUNY Upstate. Those wishing to express their sympathy may make a memorial contribution to Ithaca College for music scholarships.
