Merle has been a wonderful neighbor and friend. We have enjoyed many laughs together over the years. It’s the little moments in life that mean the most. I will miss his quiet presence in the neighborhood. He was a true gentleman who always had a smile for everyone. My deepest condolences to Lynne, Norm, Ron, Lynda, Robert and all those who loved him. May he rest in eternal peace and may you all be comforted by the memories and love that you shared.

I'll never forget Merle for his years in scouting when I was a scout. He helped make our camping and other scouting development possible. Sorry I don't remember Lynn well, but certainly do Norm and Ron

I met Merle a few years ago when I brought home communion to him from our church. He was interesting to talk with and a true gentleman who loved his family.

Merle has been a great neighbor for many years and I will miss our chats trading
gardening stories. A real gentleman who lived a full life and who will be greatly missed.
