Oliver Richard Langstaff, Jr, 73, went to be with The Lord July 24, 2017. He was predeceased by his parents Oliver and Doris Langstaff, his daughter Jessica and a sister Theresa Prefario. He is survived by his sons Wayne (Cherri), Richard (Heather) and Daniel, two brothers Tim and David (Toni) and four sisters Mary Greenmun, Anne Langstaff, Patti Sager and Maria (Jack) Ferguson, 12 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Dick served in the U.S. Navy on the U.S.S. Enterprise during the Vietnam War. After completing his Naval service he enlisted in the  Army Reserves. he was an avid Chess player and a NYS Class C Champion. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

A memorial service will be held 11 am Saturday at the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home 483 Chenango St. Binghamton. Military honors will be accorded at the close of the service.
