Rev. Marlene Smith, 81, of Binghamton passed away March 11, 2017. She is survived by her husband Francis L. Smith, her son Edmund Roy, daughters Lorraine (William) Collins, all of Binghamton and Cindy S. (Anthony) Turner, of Ft.Mills, SC, 8 grandchildren, Scott (Lisa) Collins, Kyra (Jason) Farthing, Paul (Kylea) Collins, Mara Collins, Ryan Collins, Myranda (Lucas) Woehrle, Alisha Turner and Caressa Turner, sister-in-law, Dorothy Lowe, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother Theron Lowe and a dear friend Helen LaNave. Marlene was the minister of Memorial Chapel of the UCM for over 40 years. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday March 24 at the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00-11:00 am.
