Rita M. (Royko) Wells of Vestal (Class of '73) fell asleep in the arms of her Lord and Savior on April 14th where she joined her parents John and Anna (Miller) Royko as well as many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends. She is survived by her loving Son & Daughter in-law, Robert and Kim Wells,three grandchildren Sheila, Robert Jr., and Christopher; her siblings Eileen and Dan Jones NC, John Royko NC, Robert and Debbie Royko Port Crane, Denise Royko,Vestal, also three Aunts, one Uncle, many cousins, nephews, great nephews and dear friends Brian,Mike and Edie. Rita loved her times in Florida, coffee, being friendly to everyone and made friends everywhere she went.

    A private Office of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 18th at the Hopler Eschbach funeral home. Burial will be in the Holy Spirit Cemetery at a later date. Donations in Rita’s name can be made to the Vestal Volunteer Emergency Squad, 324 Myrtle St, Vestal or a charity of ones choosing. Psalm 4:8 -I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.
