Roger Nye Chapmen, 76, of Alpine, New York died unexpectedly at his home, October 19, 2015. Roger was a retired teacher from Trumansburg Central Schools, where he taught math and history. After retiring from teaching he continued working at his own business, Homestead Contracting. He very much enjoyed his annual trips to Brazil as well as dancing and attending musical festivals. His favorite band was John Simon and Radio London. He also enjoyed playing basketball and tennis.

Roger is survived by his wife, Cecilia Goulart and his children, Tammy Chapman (Ken) Michal, Kyra (Fred) Collins, Christopher (Joy) Chapman and Miriam (Jon) Stoeckel, along with eight grandchildren, Lauren, Lindsay, Gabrielle, Isaac, Chelsea, Charlotte, Camden and Jayden and one great-granddaughter Julia. He was predeceased by one daughter Cindy and his brother Stanley.

Memorial services will be held Saturday October 31, 2015 at the Living Waters Christian Fellowship, 162 Enfield Main Rd., Enfield, NY.
