Samuel Ladenheim, age 94, died July 5 of natural causes in his home in Binghamton NY. He is survived by his beloved wife, Claire, of 66 years. He is also survived by his 4 children: Xianna Shiffman of Los Angeles, CA, Mark Ladenheim of Huntington Beach, CA, Susan Rendsburg Grosberg of West Orange, NJ, and Miles Ladenheim of Wynnewood, PA; 10 grandchildren: Tami Gottesman, Naomi Davis, Abigail Katz, Gideon Shiffman, David Rendsburg, Rachel Abrams, Dina Rendsburg, Lena Ladenheim, Brock Ladenheim and Ezra Ladenheim; and 12 great grandchildren: Arielle Gottesman, Jacob Gottesman, Sarina Gottesman, Nate Gottesman, Evie Gottesman, Zachi Katz, Aedi Katz, Eyli Katz, Gavi Katz, Caleb  Davis, Zoe Abrams, Leo Shiffman. Samuel served 4 years in the US Army during WWII from 1942-1946 and then practiced law in Brooklyn NY for 47 years before retiring to Binghamton. The family wishes to thank all the caregivers who took such wonderful and compassionate care of him the last weeks of his life. Graveside services were held Monday July 6 at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge, NJ.
