Lillian M. Cooper, 83, of Kirkwood died April 24, 2012. She was predeceased by her husband Daniel E. Cooper, her parents; Earl and Bessie Huften, 6 brothers and sisters and her son-in-law, Wilbert Hitchcock. Lillian is survived by her children; Kathleen Riker-Hitchcock of Port Crane, Patricia Cooper of Kirkwood, Daniel Cooper of Kirkwood and Kelly (Gary) Wilson of Binghamton, her grandchildren; Jim and Cindy Gabriel, Amy Decker, Steven and Joanne Riker, Melissa and Dan Perron, Dan Cooper, Megan and Scott Mawhiney, Chris Cooper, Matthew and Sara Wilson, Katelin Wilson, Heather and Joe Perez, great-grandchildren; Ashley and Danielle Gabriel, Camryn and Brody Mawhiney, McKenna Decker, Joey and Gabe Perez and Cooper Perron, one brother; Joseph (Marlene) Huften, one sister; June Wittenburg and one sister-in-law Hazel Terry, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Lillian loved to cook. Her family was the center of her life and she cherished all of them.
Private burial will be in Chenango Valley Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. The family requests memorials to the Susan Komen Foundation (komencny.org). Services provided by the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, Binghamton.
