Albert W. Fusco, 78, died December 21, 2017 following a long illness.  Albert is survived by his wife Marie of Hampton Va., daughter Nancy and granddaughter Tashina of Albuquerque, NM, and son Albert of McKenny, Va., a granddaughter and his brothers Anthony of Tampa, Fl., and Richard of NYC. Albert was born and raised in Binghamton. He was fortunate in having a soft smooth voice and that along with a winning personality helped him launch a broadcasting career in Binghamton at both WINR & WNBF radio and WBNG TV.  His career took him to various television and radio stations in upstate NY, Washington DC, Richmond, Nashville and in and around New York City and it earned him a special recognition of the Southern Tier’s Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 2009.  Albert’s other great lifelong passion was following the life and times, and the great music, of Francis Albert Sinatra.

The family will receive friends Friday, January 5, 2018 at the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home 483 Chenango Street Binghamton, NY from 9:00 to 11:00 AM with service to follow by his niece Rev. Tina Rae Fusco. Burial at Calvary Cemetery will follow the services.
