Baby Shannon

Baby Shannon, 89, born in Laurel, MI, passed January 23, 2020 in Johnson City, NY. He formerly had made his home in Binghamton, but of late had been living in Centerville, GA.  Baby was predeceased by his wife Mary Shannon and sons Lawrence and Michael Shannon, along with his parents and numerous siblings.
 
He is survived by his children:  Demetrius (Terry) Shannon, Derrick Shannon, Elisa Thomas, Ujuana Jackson, Renee (Alonzo) Clinton, Diron Shannon, Donnell Shannon, Jaquan Shannon, Davyeon Shannon, Craig Shannon, Jackie Shannon, Wayne Shannon, Kedrick Shannon, Collis Shannon, Yvette Shannon and Mark Shannon, two brothers Edward Shannon and King Shannon, along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great grandchilren and a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
 
Baby enjoyed traveling and driving to visit his family. He also enjoyed singing. He was a self-employed Mason and worked in the construction and building trades for many years.
 
A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Saturday at the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango St. Binghamton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:00 pm until the time of the service.
