She was predeceased by her husband Thomas in 1998 and son Matthew in 2014. Barbara was a RN and worked for many years at Good Shepherd Fairview Home and Rivermede Manor. Early in her career she worked for the Red Cross and taught new parent classes and also helped set up the 1st aid station at the BC Open. Burial will follow in Holy Spirit Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, make a donation to the charity of your choice.

Take me out to the ball game
Take me out with the crowd
Buy me some peanuts and crackerjacks
I don't care if I never get back
Let me root, root, root
For the home team
If they don't win it's a shame
Aahh.
For it's one,
Two,
Three strikes you're out
At the old ball game
