Berton Edward Owens, 74, died Jan. 6, 2018. He is survived by his friends Vickie and Larry Smith of Windsor and was known to their family and many others as uncle Bert. He served in the Us. Navy during Vietnam and formerly worked at Akraturn Mfg. A private interment with military honors will be at Woodlawn National Cemetery, Elmira, in the spring.
