On June 23, 2018, Catherine “Cathy” (Miceli) DeVaul, 62, Binghamton, crossed the Rainbow Bridge to be greeted by her faithful dogs who predeceased her. She is survived by her loving husband Gary DeVaul, her daughter Mallory DeVaul and Ambrose Kline, two grandchildren, Amira and Zian Kline, her parents Vincent and Barbara (Martin) Miceli, her aunt LaDonn Martin, her uncle Dennis Martin (Merri Markovitch), her uncle David Martin (Dale), along with her dogs Riley and Gracie, and many extended family members in the DeVaul, Martin, and Nordberg families. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Ross and Lucille Martin, paternal grandmother, Jeanette Miceli, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Victor and Caroline DeVaul, and uncle Ross Martin III. Catherine spent 42 years working for UHS and the Johnson City Family Clinic. She always treated everyone with respect and was compassionate to animals.
The family will hold a private burial service at Vestal Hills Memorial Park. Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Cathy's life Wednesday July 4 from 1-5 pm at Green Field Northside Park in Johnson City Please make a contribution to the B.C. Humane Society in Cathy’s memory.
