Charles A. Bateman, Sr. 63, of Binghamton died suddenly December 5, 2018. He is survived by his children Chris Bateman, Charles Bateman, Jr. and Charity Bateman, grandchildren Charles, III, Brittney, Maria, Challen, Bella, Tyson, Destiny, Sarah, Jordan, Chris, Jr., and Jackson, great-grandchildren, Chuckie, IV and Serenity, the mother of his children Debra Johnston, siblings Pate, Dede, Gary and Cindy, the love of his life Joanne Fuller and a large extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his grandson Keith Schmitt, III.

The family will receive friends from 6-7pm Tuesday at the Crossroads of Life Church, 20 Exchange St. Binghamton. He will be buried in the family plot at Spring Forest Cemetery on Wednesday.
