David L. Hewett, 74, a lifelong resident of Johnson City died at his home, Thursday March 1, 2012.

He is survived by his sister, Ruth Hewett of Johson City and his brother Charles Hewett of California, as well as nieces and nephews. David was a member of the Primitive Methodist Church in Johnson City.

Private graveside services will be held at the family's convenience, in Vestal Hills Memorial Park, Rev. Elvin Murphy will officiate.
