Eileen Giordani, 99, went to be with The Lord December 29, 2017. She was predeceased by her husband Anthony in 1988 and her grandson Justin Barton in 2007, as well as siblings Joe, Jack, Charlie, Larry, Brendan, Mary, Rita, Margaret, Grace and Josita. Surviving are her children, Ernest C. Giordani , Anthony J. Giordani, Joseph P. Giordani,  Mary Elisabeth Giordani, daughter-in-law Phyllis Giordani. Grandchildren Joseph Marshall, Vincent, (wife Brookie), Christine, Renee, and Timothy Giordani.  Great grandchildren Tara, Areianah, Sierrah, Christian, Richard, Jenna, Gianna, Zoe, Casie, Gina, Marly, Michelle, Josie and sister Teresa Recupero. Eileen was full of love for everyone.  Her life was dedicated to helping her family and anyone else in need, including a stay pet or two.  She helped her husband run the family business, The Arena Restaurant, including baking amazing pies for the desert menu. In later life she worked as a pharmacist assistant and as a teacher’s aide in the Johnson City School district. She is a former resident of Johnson City and Parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church. A memorial service will be 2:00 pm Thursday at the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango St. Binghamton. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm. There will be a private burial in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City.  In lieu of flowers, please make a gift to St. Jude's Hospital in memory of Eileen.
