Surrounded by her loving family, our beloved mother and grandmother Evelyn E. Beamer passed away November 2, 2017 at the Good Shepherd Fairview Home at the age of 83. Evelyn is survived by her precious children Debby (Don) Dickson of Kirkwood, Rene (Jim) Terwilliger of Mt. Vision, NY and Sue (Kevin) Osterhout of Kirkwood, daughter-in-law Sylvia Beamer of Susquehanna, PA, 8 cherished grandchildren Jeremy, Darlene, Chrissi, Jill, Jamie, Joshua, Justin and Jerod, 8 cherished great-grandchildren, her sister Beverly Dawn of IL, brothers Arthur (Beverly) Bush of Windsor and Charles Bush of CO, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Leon, her son Jerry, 4 grandchildren and 3 brothers Tom, Jim and Bill Bush. In addition to her family Evelyn is survived by countless family friends who considered her a second mother. Evelyn worked for IBM in Endicott. She enjoyed puzzles and reading, but most of all she adored her family. Family was her priority and as the firstborn of seven children and mother of four, she was truly our family matriarch. Special appreciation is extended to the 3rd floor Rehabilitation staff at Good Shepherd Fairview Home for the special care and attention given to Evelyn and her family during her stay there.
A memorial service will be held 12:00 noon Saturday Nov. 18 at the First Christian Church of Kirkwood, 1355 US Rte 11, Kirkwood. The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00-12:00. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hallstead. In lieu of flowers, please consider a gift to the church. Services provided by the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango St. Binghamton. Please sign her guestbook.

When Tomorrow Starts Without Me When tomorrow starts without me,
And I am not there to see,
If the sun should rise and find your eyes
All filled with tears for me;
I wish so much you wouldn't cry
The way you did today,
While thinking of the many things,
We didn't get to say.
I know how much you love me,
As much as I love you,
And each time that you think of me,
I know you will miss me too;
So when tomorrow starts without me, Don't think we're far apart, For every time you think of me, I'm right here, in your heart.
