James Elwyn West

James Elwyn West, 87, died Jan. 27, 2018. He was predeceased by his wife Nell. He is survived by his children, Jeffrey J. West of Brackney, PA and Lisa West of Albuquergue, NM, two grandchildren; Angelica and Adam (Chelsea), great-grandchildren Alice and Wyatt and his good friend Bill Schubmehl. He was an Army veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 89 Vestal and V.F.W. Post 7289 in Pulaski, NY. Jim was a Vice-President of First City Chase Bank, working at both the Vestal Parkway and Clinton St. branches.He also owned and operated Jim West Electrical in Vestal. He enjoyed summers at his cottage at Sandy Pond.

A celebration in his memory will be held at the Wine Cellar, 100 Rano Blvd, Saturday beginning at 4:00 pm. Please share your memories in the online guestbook.
