Joseph Paratore Obituary

Joseph A. Paratore, 82, of Binghamton was called home to be with the Lord on November 28, 2018. Joe was predeceased by his parents Joseph Paratore and Catherine Barberio Paratore, his son Mark Joseph Paratore, his sister Jean Nikolassy and mother-in-law Katherine Balch. He is survived by his wife Barbara (Balch) Paratore of Binghamton, his brother-in-law and wife Tony (Sherri) Nikolassy, his sister-in-law Carol Pape and her extended family, along with many dear friends, especially his church family at United with Christ Church, where he was a faithful member and Elder. Joseph was born in Mohawk, NY and raised in Frankfort, NY. He served in the United States Army. His career relocated him several times over the years, finally settling in Binghamton, NY. He enjoyed woodworking.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Saturday December 8, 2018 at the United with Christ Church, 1025 Robinson Hill Road, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:30 until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Binghamton Rescue Mission, 56-58 Whitney Ave. Binghamton, NY 13901 in memory of Joe.
