Laurie J. (Krach) Hurd, 52 passed away May 29, 2017 after a valiant battle with cancer. Laurie was predeceased by her mother Madeline Krach in 2014. She is survived by her cherished family, her husband Michael Hurd, her son Brandon, her father Richard Krach and her brother and sister-in-law John and Ruby Krach. Laurie loved her family and friends deeply and was always willing to do anything she could to help others. A memorial service will be 6:00 pm Friday at the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango St. Binghamton. A reception will follow at the Binghamton German Club. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 4:00-6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, consider a donation to the American Cancer Society or the Wounded Warrior Project
