Madeline (Jenks) Gage

 
Madeline Gage, 98, born Feb. 8, 1920,in Port Crane, NY died Feb. 11, 2018 in Johnson City. She was predeceased by her husband Curtis Gage in 2009, several brothers and sisters, grandson Michael Gage and daughter-in-law Diane Gage.  She is survived by her children; Donna (William) Belcher of Chenango Forks and FL, Stanley (Catherine) Gage of Port Crane, Harry (Dolores) Gage of Chenango Forks, Ronald Gage of Port Crane, Edward (Sue) Gage of Chenango Forks and Jan Gage (David) Thayer of New Jersey, 18 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 25 great-great grandchildren, 3 great-great-great grandchildren, and two sisters Raymona Sbarra and Laymona Casterlin. Madeline enjoyed sewing, playing cards, cooking and knitting. She was very loving and she kept things going in the right direction for her family.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm Saturday at the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango St. Binghamton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00-3:00 pm. Burial will be in Port Crane Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, please make a gift in her memory to your favorite charity.
