Marilyn May (nee Theis) Schneider, 69, of Binghamton passed away peacefully at her home, September 20, 2017. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Dr. Erich Schneider, her son Erich Alfred Schneider, her brother William Theis, grandchildren Anna, William and Maggie and a special friend Linda Hagen. She was predeceased by her parents William and Mary Theis. Marilyn possessed a creative and artistic spirit which she expressed as a gifted decorator, artist and writer. She loved animals, especially horses and her beloved cats. She was a graduate of Ohio Northern University and a past member of the Auxiliary of the Broome County Medical Society.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. She will be entombed in the family mausoleum at the Markillie Cemetery in Hudson, Ohio. Services are under the direction of the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango St. Binghamton.
