Theresa Marie (Paugh) Blenco

 
A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.  It is with broken hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend, Theresa (Terri) Marie Blenco. She was 62. Born in Binghamton, daughter of Joseph William and Agnes Paugh, Terri began her career as secretary at Dicks's Sporting Goods and later was employed as a secretary for the Binghamton Police Department for almost 25 years before her retirement. She took great pride in her job and being part of the Binghamton Police Department.  Her father cultivated a deep passion for fishing in Terri and she spent countless hours fishing with her family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her friends - especially the "Kennedy Girls" as they called themselves, Julie, Barb and Lori. She was well liked by all and would do anything for anybody. Most of all she was devoted to her family. As a loving wife and mother she was deeply family centered. She simply adored her grandchildren and was always there for them anytime they needed anything. She made every person in her family feel special. 

She is survived by her husband Edwin, her daughter and son-in-law, LeeAnn and David Sand, daughter-in-law, Ashley Blenco, her mother Agnes Paugh, sister Tony Kupillas, 10 grandchildren; Noah and Madi Long, Hayden, Kameron, Olivia and Jax Blenco, Marissa Bucksbee, Jenny, Tiegan and Ryan Sand, brother-in-law Chuck (Karen) Blenco, along with an aunt, nieces, nephews, cousins and a great number of dear friends. She was predeceased by her father Joseph William Paugh  and her beloved son Billy, who died in 2016.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday at the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango St. Binghamton.
