Ursula, I was so sorry to hear this news.  It has been a while since I have been active in the German Club but I always remember what a great couple the two of you made.  We had many fun times after chorus on Friday nights.  I enjoyed talking to Werner about projects he was working on and he was always helpful to me.  I always remember him with a smile on his face.  I hope many happy memories comfort you in this sad time.

To the family of Werner Kraemer,
Sincerest condolences on the loss of your loved one. I worked with Werner at Link for five years and consider him to be one of the brightest, most creative and professional gentlemen--and I mean that in every sense--I have ever met. He was truly a man of unflappable nature, someone who would invariably have a constructive response at critical times. I viewed him as a vital asset to the business and a person of great breadth and depth. Reading some of the other condolence letters only affirms that I am not alone in this notion. You are so fortunate to have had him in your lives. He will be missed wherever he walked.

Mrs. Kraemer,
I met Mr. Kraemer thru his wife Ursula when he became a patient at our dental office.
I have always thought of Mrs. Kraemer as one of the loveliest people you would ever meet and when I met her husband I felt the same.
It was always a pleasure to see either one of their names on the schedule.
It is a sad day indeed to have learned of Mr. Kraemer''s passing.
My deepest sympathies to Mrs. Kraemer and the Kraemer family.

So very sorry for your loss. I worked with Werner for many years at NASA JSC. He was truly an engineers engineer. Remember many fond times with Werner and John in and out of the office. I had recently reconnected with Werner after he found me through Facebook. Fortunately we were able to renew our old friendship albeit over the net for a few months.

My grandfather said this weekend that "Werner was a brilliant man who never met a stranger." It's so true.

He also gave me an appreciation of the simple joys of life. He was always "in the moment," enjoying a sunset, or a Sunday drive, or a relaxing afternoon hanging out on the back porch with friends or family.

One of my favorite stories about Dad happened back in 1983, when I was 16. I was visiting him in Brighton, England over Christmas break. I saw in the newspaper that Duran Duran (with whom I was obsessed at the time) was playing Wembley Arena that night in London. The concert had been long sold out, but Dad didn't hesitate one second before saying, "Let's go!" He said we'd try to get tickets on the way in, and if we couldn't, we would just enjoy the train ride.

We ended up in floor seats in the 11th row. I was thrilled beyond belief. Dad didn't know any of their music, but he really enjoyed the entire evening. The girls next to me kept telling me how cool my father was to come with me and dance along with all of us.

Best. Time. Ever.

Much love to you, Ursula. He will be missed.

Ursula and family, my heartfelt condolences on your loss. Werner and I worked together for many years at Link. In my long career in engineering I knew many intelligent people but very few true inventors. Werner was one. His technical genius enabled him to create new products and inventions that most engineers only dream about. In addition to his technical abilities, Werner and I shared a love of philosophy. Back in the 80s, we found a mutual interest in Rudolf Steiner and both became interested in theosophy. We spent many hours together in deep discussions exploring the works of Steiner, Hegel and Ouspensky among others. We also spent time together sipping beers at the German Club or wherever we traveled on numerous business trips. While our paths took different directions in recent years and our contact became minimal, I will always remember Werner with fond admiration and profound respect.
So sorry for your loss, Tom Moberg

Ursala and family,
I am very distressed and saddenned to learn of Werner's passing.  We worked together on a simulator project for the Canadian military from 2006 until just recently.
Werner was a true gentleman and one of the very best engineers I have ever worked with.  With his grace and calm problem solving demeanor, it was a privelege to work with Werner.  My deepest sympathies in your time of loss.

Warmest personal regards,
