William Harrison Chadwick, 90, passed away after a short illness on November 16, 2017 in Binghamton, NY. Harrison was born August 26, 1927 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the son of Lewis and Esther Chadwick. He grew up in Bloomington, MN, where he attended grade school through high school. He enlisted in the Navy in 1945, and, with the end of WWII, was discharged in 1946. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in AgriculturalEngineering.

Harrison and Lillian Evelyn Morgan were married at the Richfield Baptist Church, Richfield, MN on February 14, 1951. Harrison mainly worked on watershed projects with the Soil Conservation Service, the Bureau of Land Management and the Geological Survey. Harrison and Evelyn wanted to experience the country, so they lived in Nebraska, Virginia, Minnesota, Idaho, and Montana, retiring to Lewistown, MT in 1982. They continued to travel, visiting all 50 states and numerous Canadian provinces.

Harrison was a longtime member of the Masons. He had lifelong interests in photography and in airplanes and flying; he developed and printed photographs, and he earned a pilot's license. Harrison also enjoyed the outdoors, camping, and bird watching.

Due to declining health, Harrison and Evelyn moved to Apalachin, New York in 2016 to be near their eldest son. Harrison is survived by his wife Evelyn, sons Andrew (Cindy), David (Gina Pace), and Peter (Sherry Blackford), grandchildren Jamie Kramer, Taylor Chadwick, Sarah Chadwick, Morgan Chadwick, and great-grandchild Chloe Kramer.

Memorial services will be Saturday, April 28th at 2 PM, visitation at 1:30 PM at the Lakewood Memorial Chapel, Lakewood Cemetery, 3600 Hennepin Ave S, Minneapolis, MN.
