William P. Swawola, 55, died unexpectedly Oct. 17, 2017. He is survived by his fiancee, Angie Shirley, his son Christopher Swawola of Sanitaria Springs, stepsons Christopher Roy and Joshua Whitbeck, his mother Dorothy, siblings Stephen, Jr. of PA, Darleen Empet of Port Crane, Douglas of Port Crane, Tamera (Jeff) Sutliff Perrego of Conklin, Edward (Jennifer) of Windsor, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a close friend Todd Sutliff. He was predeceased by his father Stephen and dog Hercules. Bill was a loyal Steelers fan. He loved his family and his pets. He enjoyed working on projects around his house.

Funeral services will be 11 am Friday at the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango St. Binghamton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 5-8 pm. Please sign his guestbook.
