A. Loretta Peterman Obituary

Alberta Loretta Kibbler Peterman (known by all as Loretta), 91 died Feb 19, 2021 at Susquehanna Nursing Home. She was the daughter of the late Millard Norman Kibbler and Lulu Almedia (Trumbower) Kibbler. She was predeceased by her older brother Bruce Emery Kibbler and his wife Gwen, younger sisters Joan Iris Riach Strong, and Sandra Lee Kibbler, and daughter-in-law Patricia (Eric) Farrow Peterman. She is survived by her former husband, Ward E. Peterman (now since deceased), and three children Pamela Joyce of Ithaca, NY, Eric Bruce of Binghamton, NY, and Andrew John (JoAnne) of Franksville, WI. She is survived by nine grandchildren Jonathan Robert, Wendi Teresa, Michelle, Jeremy Eric, Joshua James, Jason Ward, Andrew John II, Amanda Marie, and Justin Philip, and 14 great grandchildren Joseph James, Sara Mae, Aime Katherine, Angelica; Shaquira, Marcus, Jacob, Daliah, Emerson; Andrew John III, Harlee Joelle, Rilynn Brielle, Gabriella Gisselle, and Liam Philip, six great great grandchildren Andrew, Genevieve, Daryl, Charlie; Alex, Sammy and many nieces and nephews. Loretta graduated from Kingston Township High School and attended Wyoming Seminary. Prior to marrying Ward, she worked as a photographer at Berthold Studio. She loved her arts and crafts and caring for an extensive house plant collection, especially fond of violets. Loretta was at the forefront of healthy eating long before it was in vogue. She was a self-made nutrition and wellness expert getting her inspiration from fitness and nutrition guru Jack LaLanne. An early practitioner of homemade yogurt and juicing she inspired others to start a healthier lifestyle.  Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
