Alexander Gillies

Alexander Gillies (Alex), 78, passed away peacefully May 27, 2024 after a long illness. 

Alex was a past member of the Knights of Columbus, Kiwanis Club and presently a member of the Son's of the American Legion, Zaloga Post 1520. In his earlier years Alex was a volunteer with the Red Cross going to help in many of the devastated areas after floods, tornados, etc.

Alex was the son of the late Lexi and Harry Gillies. He leaves behind his wife, Diane Gillies; father-in-law Donald Wager and his family; as well as his cousins, Bev Schilling (Larry), Sue Williams (Terry), Priscilla Gonzalez (Nick), Ken Jones, Kathy Jones, Linda Evans (Bob) and their families.  He was predeceased by his loving grandmother Marion Trank and his aunt and Uncle Maynard and Marion Jones and his mother-in-law, Nan.

Burial will be private at the request of the family.  Donations may be made to the charity of your choice
