Amber Rose Decker

Amber Rose Decker (“Rosie”), 34, passed away unexpectedly on Friday July 19, 2024 at Binghamton General Hospital. She is survived by her boyfriend, Mel Alexander; two daughters, Jemma Miller and Melanni Alexander; parents Robert J. and Misty D. Decker; siblings: Stacee Lynn Wilcox (Robert T. Wilcox), Robert S. Decker (Laura Knight), and Austin Marie Weakland; grandmother Barbara J. Brown; many aunts, uncles and cousins; nieces and nephews: Lucas Weakland, Tori Weakland, Kariena Weakland, Katalina Weakland, Caleb T. Wilcox, Isabelle G. Wilcox, Jaysin R. Decker, Kristian R. Decker, Octavia R. Decker and Natalie L. Rosenkrans.

Amber was predeceased by her grandparents: Geraldine G. Decker, Stanley P. Decker and Robert Brown; aunt Jeanne Briggs and a cousin, Chris Scott. 

Amber loved music, dancing, and catching up with friends and family; whether it was a formal event, like a wedding, or a casual family backyard BBQ, Amber was coming to have a good time and made sure others did, too. She loved movies ranging from Disney animated classics to Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas and she absolutely loved to watch ANYTHING starring Johnny Depp.

The family will receive friends and family for a viewing from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM Wednesday July 24,2024 at the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango Street Binghamton NY, 13901. Following the viewing, she will be cremated.
