Barbara (Sidel) Balotin

Barbara Balotin, 84, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2023.  Barbara was born on June 4, 1939 in Manhattan NY.  She was predeceased by her parents Harold and Edith Seidel, her husband Martin Balotin and son Joel Balotin. She is survived by her sister, Carole (Sue) Patton, sons Jeffrey Balotin(Deb), Robert Balotin(Ada), and Eric Balotin(Theresa).  Barbara was extremely proud of her grandchildren: Rachel, Kylie, Lauren, Allie, Andrew, Sydney, Charissa plus her wonderful grand puppies Lily, Kat and Finley.  She was grateful that she was able to spend the last few years with her southern nieces Donna Frye, Heather Williams, Valerie Deleon who welcomed her with their warm southern hospitality. After multiple years working within the Vestal School District, Barbara retired in 2018

   A service will be held in her honor 11:00 am Friday November 3 at Temple Israel, 4737 Deerfield Place Vestal, NY.  Burial will follow in Temple Israel Cemetery.
