After an enjoyable afternoon of golf with Rudy, Carol D. Krupitza died suddenly at her home Friday April 18, 2025. She was 73. Carol is survived by her beloved family; her husband of 33 years, Rudy Krupitza; children Lisa Slocum, Thomas Normile (Lesa Densmore), BillieJo Austin (Robert), Penny Sullivan (Bradley Phillips) and Rudy Jon Krupitza; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; siblings Linda LaBecca, Andrea and Jim; nieces, nephews, cousins and her American Legion 1645 family. Carol was a dedicated member of the American Legion Post 1645 Auxiliary, currently serving as President and was also active at the Broome County ALA. She loved tending to flowers in her garden, as well as golfing, playing cards, puzzles and old school country music. She especially enjoyed attending her grandchildren's sporting events. Carol was a retiree of the former Singer-Link Co.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday April 25 at the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango St. Binghamton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 5:00-7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her memory to the American Legion Auxiliary #1645, 177 Robinson St. Binghamton, NY 13904. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date to be announced.
