Cecil Lou Drobak, 85, joined her family in Heaven on October 25, 2025. She is predeceased by her husband of 46 years Michael (Mickey) Drobak; her mother Alta Mae Wood and daughter-in-law Lauri Drobak. She is survived by her beloved family; her children, Ronald Drobak of Fulton, IL, Teri Humphrey of Greene, Robert M. Drobak of Port Dickinson, Michael(Jane) Drobak of Binghamton and William "Billy" (Jackie) Drobak of Hallstead, PA; grandchildren, Nicholas (Nicole) Humphrey, Joshua (Desirae) Humphrey, Jessica (Ryan) Buchman, Derek and Ryker Drobak and Bennett McGuire; great-grandchildren, Bethany, Julianna, Paige, Gavin, Natlie, Damien, Alex, Zoey, Addison and Amelia; sisters Cynthia Fuller, Linda Wood and Virginia Kipper. A native of Harpursville, Cecil spent most of her married life in Port Dickinson, where she operated the Village Lunch for many years and was a member of the Port Dickinson Community Association, which honored her as Woman of the Year in 1974. She loved cooking for her family, friends and church. She made the best potato salad and macaroni salad. Cecil was a member of the Holy Spirit Byzantine Catholic Church, its Mothers Club and and a dedicated BINGO volunteer.
The Office of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 am Monday Nov. 3 at the Holy Spirit Byzantine Catholic Church, 360 Clinton St. Binghamton 13905. Burial will follow in Holy Spirit Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00-4:00 pm at the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango St. Binghamton. A Parastas service will be held at 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her memory to her church.
