Clarence "Mert" Merton Hoag, Jr.

Clarence Merton "Mert"  Hoag, Jr. 80, died suddenly May 30, 2024. He is survived by  his wife Janice and his son Anthony "A.J." (Arianna) and his granddaughter Maura Hoag. He was the retired manager of the Front St. Radio Shack. Mert was a veteran of the Army serving from 1962-67. He was a member of DAV Chapter 60 and a Life member of the VFW. Mert was also an active member of the Twin Tiers Mustang Club.

 The family will receive friends from 10:00-10:50 am Wednesday at the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango St. Binghamton. Military Honors will be conferred at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the DAV Chapter 60, PO box 308, BInghamton, NY 13901.
