A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best. On December 31, 2021, Crystal Raspantini, age 45, was released from her pain and health struggles which she had faced with courage and strength. She is survived by her family, all of whom she loved deeply, her husband of 25 years, John Raspantini; daughters Caitlyn Raspantini and Makenna Raspantini; granddaughter Gemma; mother Joyce Monte; siblings Nicole Westcott (Lee), Robert Ruckert (Meghan), Lauren Ruckert (Ray), Jenna Ruckert (Brad); nieces and nephews, Ali, Tyler, Jasmine, Ciara, Alexa, Jayden, Alex, Ethan and Sara; aunts, an uncle and cousins. She was predeceased by her father Robert T. Ruckert.
Crystal was born in Brooklyn and grew up in New Jersey. For the past 15 years she had lived in Candor and had recently moved to Newfield. She enjoyed gardening and fishing, as well as cooking meals for the many family gatherings she held. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt and friend.
Funeral services will be 7:00 Wednesday at the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango St. Binghamton (Due to road construction, approach from Bevier St). The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-7:00 pm.
