Obituary
Danielle “Nelly” Layton, 29, of Salisbury, NC, formerly of Binghamton, NY passed away unexpectedly Saturday, January 14, 2023.
Nelly was born in Binghamton, January 26, 1993 to Tammy Lynn Rayburn and the late Kirk Douglas Layton Sr. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her dearest cousin Mercedes Backus.
In addition to her mother Tammy; she also leaves behind to cherish her memory her step-father Andy Merritt; grandmother Cheri Rayburn; sister Brandy Layton; brothers and sister-in-law Anthony (Ashley Irving) Colon, Kirk D. Layton,Jr.; Fiancé, Gunner Brown; nieces Kristina, Mya, Lailynn, Arya; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends she loved dearly, including her best friend Maddie Willis and special sisters of the heart Amanda and Alexis.
Danielle will be missed every second, minute and hour of everyday of this life. Her infectious laugh and smile would light up any room she walked into; her beauty inside and out was immeasurable. She touched everyone’s life in a special way. She had a love for animals, nature, the beach and mountains. She enjoyed her job as a dental assistant for Dr. David Ney in Harrisburg NC. She will be missed dearly.
The family will receive friends Saturday February 4, 2023 from 1:00-3:00 pm at the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango St. Binghamton.
