Diane Gillies, 52, formerly of Albany passed away after struggling with ill health for many years. Diane went to school in the Catskill area and worked several years at the Division of the Blind. Diane never complained about her situation and always made anyone visiting her feel good by the time they left the nursing home. Diane was married to the late Alex Gillies and was daughter to the late Nan and Donald Wager. She leaves behind her brother Douglas Wager; nephews Douglas Jr. and her beloved Tristan (BooBoo); her aunt Faith and uncle John Dickson and their family as well as Jennifer (Mariani) Ames who was with her at the end; and many other family members. A special thank you to (aunt) Char who Diane spoke to everyday. Bev and Larry Schilling, Alex's cousins, would like to thank the staff of Bridgewater for their care of both Diane and Alex in their time of need. Interment will made privately in the Spring. Sign her guestbook at www.HEFUNERALHOME.com.
