Donald R Buckley Sr.

Donald Richard Buckley Sr., 87 of the Town of Maine, passed away on February 4, 2025. He is predeceased by his wife Sylvia Marie Buckley; brothers, Paul Buckley, Louren Buckley and sister, Louise Talmage. He is survived by his children, Cindy (Michael) Pewterbaugh, Donald (April Glezen) Buckley Jr., Duane (Laurie) Buckley, Steven (Kim Parlett) Buckley, Michael (Brittaney Bartle) Buckley and Jesse Vanbalkenburg; grandchildren, Rebecca, Troy, Victoria, Patrick, Dustin, Cierra, Xavier, Cameron, Aiden, Desiree, Lillian, Kayla, Nichole, Kyle and many great-grandchildren.

Donald was a proud veteran, following the footsteps of his father who was a veteran of WWI. He served in both the United States Army and the United States Navy. He was a family man who loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, he also enjoyed singing karaoke with friends and family. He will be dearly missed and cherished.

A funeral service for Donald will be held 4:00 pm Thursday February 13th at the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango St. Binghamton. The family will receive friends from 2:00pm until the time of the service.
