Donna B. (Bonker) Hoke

Donna B. Hoke, 77, passed away September 16, 2025 after a sudden illness. She is survived by her beloved family, her husband of over 60 years Gary; their sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin and Pamela Hoke and Bryan and Linda Hoke; 6 grandchildren, Jonathan (Victoria) Hoke, Jordan (Matthew) Angelo, Sophia Beruk, Nicholas Beruk, Alex Hoke and Vanessa Hoke; her brother Arthur Bonker; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Frances Bonker and a sister Jackie Bailey.

Donna was an LPN, having worked as a travelling nurse of UHS and in retirement, after initially volunteering at Mercy House, she came out of retirement to work there. Donna enjoyed spending time at her camp on Cayuga Lake, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. She was truly the glue whicch held the family together and was always able to find unique ways to make each of her family members feel special.

The South Central NY-Binghamton Nurse Honor Guard will conduct a memorial service 3:00 pm Sunday Sept. 21 at the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango St. Binghamton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 1:00 pm until the time of the service.
