Earl Walker, (Born Samuel Earl Walker, III), 82, passed away January 15, 2024. He is survived by his son Earl Louis Walker; his sister Ruth Lewis; 3 grandchildren Brittany Brown, Shatara Walker and Nathan Walker; 5 great-grandchildren Aliciana, Braidyn, Aara, Von and Ameliana.
He was preceded in death by his parents Samuel Earl Walker, Jr. and Jessie Harris Walker, his partner of over 30 years, Debbe Chilson, as well as siblings Gerald Walker and Debra Walker Johnson.
Born in Binghamton, Earl was a graduate of Binghamton North High School, Class of 1959. He enjoyed hiking, woodworking and volleyball. He was a compassionate man and always did his best to help lift up and rehabilitate others.
He formerly worked as a manufacturing supervisor for Transitional Opportunities Co. in Binghamton, operated by the Broome County Council of Churches.
