Edwin Blenco, 71, went with Jesus on Thursday night, November 13, 2025. Surrounded by his daughter and granddaughters.
He is survived by his daughter, LeeAnn (David) Sand, 10 grandchildren, a great granddaughter, as well as his brother Charles Blenco. He was predeceased by his wife Theresa, son William, and parents Majorie and Roger Blenco.
Ed, or ‘P’ as he was known to many, was among the first 911 dispatchers for Broome County, New York, and retired after 20 years of faithful service.
Our 'P' had been ill for some time, and while his passing was expected eventually, the loss of this beautiful man has devastated those who loved and cared for him.
He will be laid to rest next to his wife in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, New York, 11:00 am Thursday Nov. 20, 2025
The family asks those who wish to extend sympathy to turn within and pay forward their love, grace, and kindness to those who matter most.
