Elizabeth Savidge Obituary

Elizabeth M. Savidge, 96, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Mercy House in Endicott, NY. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Roger D. Savidge; loving daughter Laura A. Savidge and grandchildren Alexis, Nathan and Noah Savidge. She is predeceased by her son David W. Savidge, parents Elizabeth and Walter Courter, and sister Doris Lewis.

Elizabeth lived a long and beautiful life and was loved deeply by all who knew her. Elizabeth was a Tax Examiner for New York State for twenty years. She was an avid flower arranger and a member of the Binghamton Garden Club and the Monday Afternoon Club. She loved spending time in Siesta Key, FL with her husband Roger every winter. She loved swimming, traveling, live music, theater and was a real foodie. She was also a voracious reader of biographies.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later day. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in her name to Mercy House of The Southern Tier, the AVRE in Binghamton, or to research for the cure of Macular Degeneration.
