Erin Marie (Reynolds) Keehle

On Tuesday, August 2, 2022, Erin Marie Keehle, 45, went home to be with God. Born on July 21, 1977, Erin was born and raised in Susquehanna, PA where she attended school and stood out as an amazing athlete in Cross Country, Basketball and Track. She joined the Army Reserves before attending college at Mansfield University where she earned her degree in Special Education. She taught students for many years in the PALS program at Broome Tioga BOCES. She was known and loved by many students and colleagues. 
 
Erin is survived by her loving parents, Barbara and Eric Paugh, her sister who adored her, Mary Klock and her brother who loved her, Benjamin Reynolds. She was the mother to three beautiful children whom she was so proud of, Barbara Reynolds, Sophie Keehle and Logan Keehle. She also leaves behind their father, William Keehle, who loved her very much. Erin had two special people in her life who were also her family by heart. Andrew Troshan and Hannah Taylor, both who loved her beyond measure. Erin also leaves behind nieces and nephews, Elizabeth, Angelina, Erin, Emily, Alex, Kyle, Leah, Aden and Owen. She was their favorite Aunt and the coolest babysitter ever. 
 
Erin was known for her amazing wit, her sharp sense of humor and a heart that was made out of sunshine. Erin had the ability to accept everyone without judgement and a kindness in her soul that others could feel. 
 
Erin was welcomed into God's arms where her grandmother, Virginia Brown; favorite aunt and uncle, Janet Brown and Peter Brown; and a special cousin Andrew Brown were waiting for her. We are brought peace knowing the 5 of them are laughing together now. 
 
Erin's unexpected passing leaves a hole in our heart that will not be filled in this lifetime but it is our hope that her story will help someone else who may be struggling with mental health and addiction. We pray that God will hold her in his arms until we are someday reunited with her. May she be remembered for all the joy and laughter she brought into this world. May she know, she was so deeply and fiercely loved. 
 
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Monday at the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango St. Binghamton (Due to road construction approach from Bevier St). The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 2:00-4:00 pm.
