Ferdinand "Fred" Benedetto, 92, passed away June 30, 2025 at his home. He is survived by his wife of 34 years year, Gloria; his children Frances Gillen, Ann Quinn and Joan Crocker; 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Fred was born in Brooklyn and served in the United States Army from 1954-56. He was a member of the VFW Post 478 and American Legion Post 1645. He was a retired mechanical draftsman for Kason Industries. He was was a member of both the Conklin and Johnson City Senior Citizens and loved to dance. Fred was loved by all and will be deeply missed.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday July 9th, at the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango St. Binghamton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 - 10:50 am. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family request memorial gifts be made to the BC Humane Society, 167 Conklin Ave. Binghamton in his memory.
